Our Mission

The NC League of Conservation Voters Foundation is protecting, preserving, and enhancing the quality of life for North Carolina citizens:

• We work with other environmental groups to set a Common Agenda: Priorities for the Environment, and advocate for these priorities at the State Legislature,
• We work with the government to ensure environmentally sound rulemaking, and strong enforcement of existing laws,
• We provide environmental groups with tools and technology to educate and engage their members in the democratic process more effectively,
• We mobilize citizens to participate in the democratic process and to elevate the importance of environmental issues in the electoral process.
