2025 Queen Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant
Gracie Chamblee (2025 Fellow) showed support at the Queen Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant Event, on June 20th, in Winston-Salem, NC. This year one of the judges included our very own Boards & Commissions Fellowship Program Director, Kerry Wiggins, as well as, Power Up’s Winston-Salem Regional Field Director, Yvette Jones! Fun fact: Yvette Jones was actually the first African American Junior Miss Pageant Queen for the The Granite City Fireball Pageant in Mount Airy, NC, when she was 15!

Drawing from personal stories, practical advice, and faith-based principles, this book challenges the illusion of perfect timing, empowering readers to take action with wisdom and courage. Whether starting a business, building relationships, or pursuing a lifelong dream, the best time to begin is now.
