Margaret joined NCLCV in January 2018 with 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and advocacy. Prior to NCLCV, Margaret worked as Individual Giving Director with Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines and Annual Programs Manager at Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities. Her work has included directing annual giving funds, event management, and corporate and community outreach. In addition to her work in development, Margaret spent 6 years with Environment North Carolina doing legislative advocacy in the North Carolina General Assembly and U.S. Congress on critical environmental issues. Margaret studied Geography at the University of New Hampshire. A native of Richmond, VA, she has lived in Colorado, Texas, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. She moved to Raleigh in 2006, and can’t think of a better place to live. With a grandfather who attended the University of North Carolina, Margaret has grown up a Tar Heel fan. You won’t ever catch her wearing the other shade of blue.
