At NCLCVF, we believe customers should have a choice between affordable, renewable energy and expensive fossil fuels. Building methane gas power plants and pipelines now will lock North Carolinians into paying for expensive, volatile, and inefficient power into the 2050s. Solar, wind, and battery storage are complementary, reliable resources that are inexpensive and quick to build.
NCLCVF works in partnership with state and local environmental, health, and consumer advocacy organizations to educate the public about increases to their electric bills, when rising prices will impact residents statewide, and how to take action.
