Not long ago, most of North Carolina’s energy came from dirty coal plants that polluted our air and left toxic coal ash to pollute our water.
But North Carolina is turning a corner with more and more energy coming from renewable sources like wind and solar. Gov. Cooper’s Clean Energy Plan will expand renewable energy, invest in battery storage, and create an electric vehicle charging network.
