Your voice and vote counts!

After you've filled out the Register to Vote Form...
  1. Click the “Register online” button above
  2. Scroll down and click the “Go to Voter Registration Application” button
  3. Click the “Continue to myNCDMV Services” button
  4. Select Continue as a guest.
  5. Click Submit a Voter Registration Application
  6. You will need your NC Driver License or DMV-issued ID Card with you

You now need a photo ID to vote in North Carolina.

If you do not have an acceptable photo ID currently, you have options to obtain one for free.

If you do not have an acceptable ID when you go to vote, you can ask for a Photo ID Exception Form.
