Jazmín Varela is Finite Carbon’s Director of Landowner Relations. She oversees the operations team for the CORE Carbon digital platform. She works closely with various teams that are collectively responsible for delivering and scaling up of digital platform for natural climate solutions. Before joining Finite Carbon, Jazmín served as Assistant Director of Integrative Services at The Conservation Fund, where she led project development across various teams working to provide communities access to conservation tools. Her role also included lead designer and delivery of Green Infrastructure Plans across the country. She received a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. Jazmín lives in NC with her daughter and spends her free time riding bikes, running, gardening, and walking her dog.
