Mrs. Donna Hairston Mickens is a retired Assistant Principal of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. She is married to a retired military veteran, Mr. Benjamin Mickens. Mrs. Mickens is a member of several service organizations, such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Incorporated, Top Ladies of Distinction and the North Carolina A & T State University Twin City Alumni Chapter. She believes in being prepared and goes above what is expected in order to be effective and efficient. Her personal hobbies include traveling, reading and cooking. She is a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and volunteers at Bolton Elementary. She demonstrates a genuine concern, resourcefulness and interest for her educational endeavors and the students with whom she serves.
