The Boards & Commissions Fellowship Program will be a great guide into expanding my knowledge as I eventually join the Commission on Ending Homelessness of NC. I want to grasp more knowledge on how to navigate being a part of a board, learn how to ask the right questions, and become a better communicator and advocate for my community. My passions include volunteering to feed the homeless, tutoring younger students, and advocating for minorities in the community. I am eager to learn about different ways to use my voice to advocate for those who are not yet aware of their own. I am currently working on a Master’s in Healthcare Administration.
