A native of Winston Salem, North Carolina. London McKinney is a sought-out organizer with a strong passion for community and an advocate for social and political justice for all. Ms. McKinney is a graduate of High Point University with a degree in Business Administration. She has worked at Atrium Health at Wake Forest Baptist for 25 years. She believes it is essential for her to grow continually as a servant leader to be part of the change needed. Ms. McKinney has served on several boards locally and is one of the organizers of Communities United for Revitalization and Engagement (C.U.R.E.), and served as a member of the State Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council. In her spare time, Ms. McKinney enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time with family, her two children, and granddaughter, Rayven.
