Jose Saucedo

José is a dedicated grassroots lead community organizer with Power Up NC, educating and organizing for environmental justice in Black, Brown, and low-income communities. Passionate about community empowerment and meaningful change, he works closely with residents in Winston-Salem, NC, to help them drive the transformations they envision. He serves on the City of Winston-Salem Community Sustainability Program Committee, where he contributes to shaping policies, programs, and initiatives that promote environmental resilience within the city. Additionally, he is the Vice President of the Delta Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. in Winston-Salem, furthering his commitment to service and leadership.
