Ivis joined NCLCV in February of 2024. Prior to NCLCV Ivis worked for a children’s home as a case manager, where he quickly realized how much necessity there is to continue to educate our youth and minorities on their rights and power. Doing this ensures that they are not only able to serve our country better, but more importantly, themselves, and in turn, becoming a more empowered citizen. After working for nonprofit for a year, he realized this was the area he wanted to continue to grow in. He received a BA in General Studies and is currently working on a Master’s in Health Administration. He hopes to join the Commission on Ending Homelessness as well.
