William Munn is a Policy Analyst at the North Carolina Justice Center in Raleigh. Prior to joining the Justice Center, he served the constituents of the Second and Fourth Congressional districts for nearly 15 years. William interfaced with local and state leadership and guided outreach strategy in culturally diverse and transient communities by articulating legislative priorities and connecting resources to opportunity. He often served as an intermediary between federal agencies and constituents to facilitate expeditious resolution. In addition to his role as a congressional staffer, William mastered the art of coordinated campaigning over the course of several election cycles. These often-educative experiences have positioned him to become an advocate for environmental justice. William currently serves on the Board of Directors for Sustainable Sandhills in Fayetteville. William earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Fayetteville State University; Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke; and Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
