I am Dr. Choya Boykin. I am a native of Clinton, North Carolina. I currently live in Raleigh, NC with my wife, Christy, and our daughter, Zoe. I am a double Eagle with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of School Administration from North Carolina Central University. I earned an Education Specialist degree from UNC Chapel Hill and I earned my Doctor of Education degree from Alverno College. I am a career educator with over 22 years of experience. I take pride in building strong teams that remain focused on meeting the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of all students. I am also a small business owner of several businesses which include a custom apparel company and a deli. I like to play Chess as much as possible. I love music, business development, traveling, and spending time with family.
