My name is Gracie Chamblee. I was born and raised in Duplin County, North Carolina, and was educated in the Public Schools of Duplin County. I have been a resident of Johnston County since 1989 and have lived in my home for over 35 years. I have experience in developing and instructing program curricula for K-12 youth. In addition, I have performed practical interpersonal skills for work in teams and youth mentoring. I have utilized/possessed knowledge of traditional and social media platforms to increase community and youth engagement in local programming. I have a commitment to the education, mentoring, and success of students and adults with special needs and underserved populations. I possess strong interpersonal skills and work well in teams, am versatile in my career, and have proficient typing skills. I am a retiree from Local Government and have knowledge of the budget process, training, and human resources requirements. I have a strong commitment to serving others and enjoy interacting with individuals of all ages, especially young people and the elderly seasoned population.
