Born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, Krystal is a passionate advocate for young adults. Currently a member of the Young Adult Missionary Outreach Program at Friendship Baptist Missionary Church in Fayetteville, she also serves as a mentor with the U&I Youth Development Nonprofit Program in Fayetteville. For the past 12 years, Krystal has been employed with the Department of Veteran Affairs working to serve our veterans. Krystal has worked with the Power Up NC Organization over the years, which led her to enroll in NCLCVF’s Boards and Commissions Program. Power Up NC has taught her how to be stronger in the economy and has shown her how to promote a healthier environment. She would like to ignite change in her community by reaching out to young adults and educating them on the importance and awareness of current events happening around them. The NCLCVF’s Boards and Commissions Program will give her the knowledge needed to educate the community and inspire young adults to get involved to create a positive impact.
