“As Outreach Director for NCLCV, I get to work with several of our c3 programs closely. I love working with the Boards and Commissions Fellowship program because I believe deeply in our mission of getting more of us into positions of power to shape decision-making in our communities. We need more diverse representation on local boards and commissions to make the kinds of decisions that will benefit our neighborhoods and our people. And, the more we can connect people in leadership positions with each other to strategize, learn from each other and support one another, the better off we all are.
