The NC Boards & Commissions Fellowship Program team attended the Annual Green Tie Awards held at the historic Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh, NC on May 19th.
The event brought together community leaders, advocates, and supporters from across North Carolina to celebrate environmental leadership, civic engagement, and community impact. Our team had the opportunity to connect with inspiring individuals and organizations who are making a difference throughout the state. It was an incredible evening filled with meaningful conversations, networking opportunities, and recognition of the important work being done in communities across North Carolina. We are grateful to have been part of such an amazing turnout and to continue building relationships that strengthen civic leadership and engagement throughout the state.

The CNI Resident Artist will collaborate with the Public Art Commission to work with East Winston-Salem residents to develop an artistic project that is community focused.
The selected artist will have an all-inclusive budget of $300,000 with an expected time commitment of 12 months that includes the initial immersion period, a proposal period, and then time to implement the artistic project.
